The sea view and secluded setting are fantastic, and the spot between Oslo and Gothenburg works well for a stop on a trip. The showers, toilets, and shared areas were fine, but the room smelled bad and could have been cleaner. In mid-August, finding nobody around made the place feel a bit sad, even creepy. We arrived with no one to greet us and no booking instructions about where our building or keys were. We eventually found the keys in a mailbox anyone could open. Other guests had the same problem, and some had no key waiting for them. There were no sheets or towels in the room either. The website does mention this, but it should be clearer during booking. You can rent them, but with no reception staff there, that wasn't easy. This place could be amazing with better communication, more respect for customers, and cleaner rooms.

The staff seemed completely disengaged, and the restaurant listed online for breakfast and lunch no longer exists. After your stay, you're expected to clean the whole room and take out the garbage, despite paying 100€ per night for a room with four worn-out bunk beds and paper-thin walls. The facilities look like they haven't been renovated since the 1970s. Bedsheets cost 150 SEK each, paid separately, and the shared toilets and showers are just as poor as the rest of the place. Stay away if you don't want your vacation ruined. It's an absolute dump.

We had a lovely time here. The beach is beautiful, and it's a great spot to watch the sunset. The facilities are simple, clean, and charming, and the reception staff were very helpful. It's a fair deal if you don't need luxury.

A decent place to get some rest, though I found a spider on the ceiling and a pair of used earplugs under the bed. Maybe they got missed during cleaning.
