The staff were nice, probably summer workers. The pool can be used only while reception is open, and reception closes at 7 PM. After that, you enter through a side door with a code. I met two women whose cards had stopped working, so I called the emergency number and asked for help. Keep that in mind if you stay, and don’t put your room card against your phone or it may get demagnetized. The room was just four walls, a floor and ceiling, a bed, toilet, and bench. The TV was useless because none of its channels were installed. The hotel has a real 70s feel, and it seems unlikely to have been renovated since then. Its glamorous days seem to have been about 40 years ago. Even Norman Bates might get cold feet in the corridors at night. It’s completely OK for an overnight stay if you’re heading on somewhere the next day.

Möre Hotell 2.0 looks stylish, with fresh new rooms and lovely staff who gave friendly service. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, and the scrambled eggs were a real highlight, truly “homemade”.
