Hotel Villa Anna

We've been back to Villa Anna in Uppsala several times since our first stay in 2022, and it's been lovely and memorable each time. The staff have always been warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. We also joined their julbord one year, which was festive, fun, and a real highlight. Every time we've stayed, we've had a beautifully designed suite with a separate bedroom, charming living room, spacious bathroom, large bathtub, and private ensuite sauna. The room views were delightful, and the thoughtful design made it exceptionally comfortable. Villa Anna remains one of our favourite places to stay in Sweden. Breakfast has been a little underwhelming. There's a small buffet and à la carte options, but the selection is more limited than at many other hotels across Sweden. It's not bad, just not quite at the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. Parking is attached to the building, which is convenient, but there are very few spaces. During high season or on weekends, it can be hard to get one. The hotel's operating schedule is our main concern, as Villa Anna closes quite often throughout the year and that makes planning a stay more challenging than we'd like.
