Utö Värdshus

We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the beef fillet, usual trimmings, and nice chips. Portions were generous. The lodges also had thoughtful access features, with wide doorways and a fairly level front entrance, though the decking was less accessible. Ours had a comfortable double bed, a sitting area with an armchair and two-seat bed settee, a mini kitchen, a separate single bedroom, and a wet room with a shower. The IKEA furniture and kitchen items looked good, and especially the bed was comfortable. I can't comment on the other rooms around the site. Breakfast in the main building was a very decent buffet with lots to choose from, including the best scrambled eggs, a waffle maker, and oranges you could squeeze yourself. There are plenty of activities for young people near the harbour. We'd be happy to come back.

We were in the harbour with our sailing yacht and chose this beautiful restaurant for dinner. Since it was my husband's birthday, I picked a table in the inner veranda. It was a nicely decorated, quiet room, with just an older couple there celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. It felt like a lovely place for a special occasion. Dinner was excellent and the service was perfect. We highly recommend Utö Vardshus.

The sea view and quiet garden were lovely, and the food was tasty. Prices were about the same as in Stockholm city. The staff serving us were gentle and thoughtful. Recommend!

The views are divine, and the coastal trails nearby are beautiful, so make sure to check them out. The staff were lovely, the accommodations comfortable, and the food excellent.
