There’s lovely nature all around this place.

The setting is cozy and it’s close to Fyrudden, which turned out to be fortunate since the website made it sound like food would be available here, but it wasn’t. For the price, we expected more. The rooms felt a little worn and were noisy, and the toilet and shower are along the corridor. There’s no reception, and no staff around even at breakfast. They put your name and room number on a board for everyone to see. It’s a practical system, though not everyone will be comfortable with that.

This happened in 2015. The bathroom lights kept switching on and off despite there being no motion sensor, and cold flashes seemed to come through the hallway outside the bathroom. It felt a bit frightening. My youngest daughter saw a shadow walking across the wall, though there was nobody there who could have made it.

The staff were surly and unfriendly, and they failed to prepare everything they’d agreed to for the wedding party. There were dirty chairs and broken tables. The food was either charred on the grill or still raw, and it came out cold and with so much pepper that I couldn’t eat it, even though I like spicy food. The couple had to return to collect their things and clean up afterward. They were disgusted. It only took about seven minutes to clean up a few balloons, programs, and napkins. I wouldn’t recommend going there.
