The meals were very good, fresh and varied, with fika and dinner included in the price. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. It's a great hotel, and I'll definitely visit again.

A return visit is definitely in order. The staff were great, the rooms clean and cosy, and breakfast, fika, dinner and parking were all included. It's pet friendly too.

The complimentary evening meal was a lovely surprise after a long day out, and breakfast had plenty of fresh, high-quality choices. I also enjoyed the sauna in the relaxation area. Staff knew the local sights well and were happy to share suggestions. Our room at Clarion Collection Hotel Fregatten was spotless, comfortable and nicely furnished, with soft bedding and coffee and tea facilities. The hotel's right by the coast, with lovely water views, and Varberg's shops and restaurants are only a short walk away. It's a handy base for seeing the town. From arrival, the staff were welcoming and quick to help with questions. The combination of the location, comfortable room and attentive service made this an unforgettable getaway, and the stay exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Clarion Collection Hotel Fregatten and look forward to returning.

The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms were clean and the location is excellent, right by the harbour, town centre and sea. Dinner was included and was traditional and simple. If you're after more choice or something fancier, you may want to skip it. Check-in was friendly.
