We arrived by bike and the owner greeted us so warmly, then explained what she had available. We had coffee, a tray with different cakes, and strawberry lemonade for our four-year-old daughter. Everything tasted great. She showed us around the old farmhouse and took us to the sheepfold. The cats, chickens, and sheep wandered around freely, and everything felt so open and lovingly cared for. Even though she had another visitor, the owner spent a lot of time with us. She told us about herself, her home, and the lovely story of Pelle, his sheep, and his clothes. This place comes highly recommended. You leave feeling happy and uplifted because the owner is so welcoming and down to earth. Thank you for the time and this lovely encounter. Eva Lis made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. She's a very kind and pleasant host. The rooms are comfortable and charming, and we had a restful stay in this lovely 17th century country house with its family heritage. The setting is picturesque, with winding country lanes that are great for peaceful walks in nature. Our visit was brief, but we hope to return soon for coffee and homemade cakes. A 10/10 experience.
The staff were lovely, and the surroundings were lovely too.
This farm shop focuses on lamb, and also sells beef. They make different kinds of sausages, including pork sausages, and smoke meat in their own smokehouse. You can buy coffee there, too. During summer there’s music from local talents, along with storytelling evenings.
What we thought would be a quick coffee stop turned into a whole experience among the farm animals. Eva Lis gave us a first-class welcome and took time for us and our children. The place was a fantastic idyll. Thank you so much!
