Quiet and clean. I appreciated that the included breakfast had eggs and low-fat milk.

The only bright spot was the cleaner, who was helpful and always smiling. The villa is very old and the rooms are small. I hadn’t expected to find no kettle, minibar, phone, fan, ventilation, or tissues in the room. Breakfast choices were very limited, and it didn’t feel worth the money.

I stayed in a single room from 26-28 May 2023, and had a fantastic visit. The location was great, the price very reasonable, and the WiFi worked well in my room. At check-in, I was greeted at the entrance and had a very pleasant interaction. The room was just what I expected and needed. I also liked being able to open the window, which you don’t get in the UK. The bathroom was lovely, and the shower had good water pressure. I didn’t try the included breakfast or coffee, so I can’t comment on those. I’d recommend the hotel and would come back if I’m in town.

WARNING, I can’t recommend this place. We paid around 850 kr a night for two people, and at that price I couldn’t accept the drawbacks. There’s very little way to cook for yourself in the so-called kitchen. It has some ceramic plates and microwaves, but no cutting boards, stove, or oven. There’s no restaurant or other option to buy prepared food either. Breakfast is very limited, with no plant-based milk and almost no vegan alternatives. The interior is ugly, there was dirt between the beds, and we found hair in the shower and on the floor when we arrived, so it seems the shower hadn’t been cleaned. Cleaning staff came into the room without knocking. We were two people but got only one key.
