The owners were so kind and welcoming, and Christina really made the included breakfast feel special with its lovely presentation. It was delicious, too. The place has a peaceful, cosy feel, and our room and bathroom were clean. We also appreciated the hypoallergenic sheets and that there was no extra charge for sheets, pillowcases, or towels. It’s a bit far from amenities, but we loved our stay and would happily come back to Vittaryd and recommend it.

What we liked most was the lovely setting: the grounds are cared for in a traditional Swedish style, with beautiful nature all around and cows to greet us each morning. The hosts were both friendly, flexible, and spoke English well. We rented a boat at a reasonable price, and both the boat and motor were in good shape. We were there in mid-September 2023. The accommodation was clean and cosy, and the little kitchen had everything we needed. Shops and places to eat are a short trip by car or bike, though this isn’t a city, so it helps to plan when you’ll go. We had a great stay and plan to return next year.

Such a quiet spot, and the accommodation was top quality. I only stayed one night and arrived very late, but that was no problem. Breakfast was already waiting in the cooler and kitchen. What more could you ask for?
