The facilities were okay, and for a capsule hostel I thought the cleanliness was pretty good. I didn’t see suitcases left around the room or anyone’s belongings in the bathroom, which deserves five stars. I just wish there were a larger shared area. There isn’t even space for a pantry.

As a first-time hostel guest, I had a really good experience and would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and felt safe, and the staff were helpful. People staying there also looked out for one another, like holding the door open from inside. Thanks, 7 wonders, for a wonderful stay.

The room was unbearably hot and stuffy, and the other guests made it hard to sleep. People came and went, talked loudly on the phone, and made disruptive noises. The toilet was gross, with poop around the bowl. On my last night the power suddenly went out for hours, right through the morning, so I couldn’t sleep. During my seven nights, I felt I got no value, service, or cleanliness for what I paid. Receptionist Shafiq and the large housekeeping guy were extremely rude. Shafiq argued with me and said I could leave if I wasn’t comfortable and get a refund. He never tried to make things right, and most of my interactions with him were negative. This was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in Singapore. Don’t waste your money here.

For the price, this is a basic hostel that’s decent value in Singapore. It’s convenient too, about a five-minute walk to Little India MRT, with three bus stops to the National Museum and Orchard Road. The bed has curtains, and the room has air conditioning.

I’m from Pakistan, and staying at 7 Wonder Upper Diskon felt like being at home. The hostel was comfortable and clean, and the staff were really friendly. I also loved the food around Little India. Being in Little India, Singapore, made the stay even better. Highly recommended!
