Ascott Orchard Singapore

For our anniversary, I booked a 1 Bedroom Duluxe Suite for 3 days 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean, and the service was top notch from the moment we arrived. I took off a star because breakfast was included in my booking, but the kitchen was under renovation. They replaced the buffet with bento boxes, which I didn't feel was a fair substitute. Apart from that, it's an excellent spot for a staycation in the heart of Orchard Rd.

I'm Malaysian, and I read that Ascott provided complimentary accommodation to a grieving father after a tragic accident in Singapore. I was touched by that compassion. It shows me that Ascott cares about humanity beyond profit. I respect and appreciate this kindness, and will definitely book with Ascott on my next Singapore visit.

The suites can fit large families, and ours had plenty of useful space: living and dining areas, plus a functional kitchen with a coffee maker, decent-sized fridge, plates, and cutlery. We often ate takeaway there when too tired to go out, and the kids liked playing in the common area. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great for lazy mornings. During Christmas, my family and I found the hotel spotlessly clean, with marble floors and decorative art giving it an elegant but modern, homey feel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The hotel is just a short walk from busy Orchard Road, tucked along quieter Cairnhill Road. A fast walker can reach Orchard in five minutes or less, and a skybridge connects the condotel to Paragon Plaza Mall on Orchard Road, handy in rain or hot weather. Restaurants, bars, malls, and convenience stores are all walkable. There's also a gym, swimming pools, and a poolside lounge. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers who want to be near Orchard, especially larger groups looking for a hotel feel with basic home appliances and amenities.

This was my second stay, and it remains one of the best hotel experiences. The location is just right, the amenities are high quality, and the team makes you feel at home. I can only recommend it for a Singapore visit. See you next time!
