The room was clean and larger than the rooms at hotel 81. Staff were friendly and less strict, too. And no, it definitely isn't haunted.

I still think fondly of the lovely family and the great food. Fifty years ago, yes, 50, I spent several weeks here with the owner, "Ongi," and his son Cameron. Back then the location was mostly residential, with very little commerce. Things have changed since, but the memories stayed with me.

Easy transit access, nearby park pathways, a mall close by, and a hospital about a 14-minute walk away made the location work really well for me. The neighborhood has million-dollar homes. The family runs the hotel, which feels like staying in their home. I was traveling alone as a woman and felt safe; someone was at the desk around the clock. There’s Wi-Fi, but they only take cash, with no card machine. The place could use updates. If you can, book a more expensive room.

I had a good stay here. For exhibitors at an exhibition at Singapore expo center hall, this seems like a great option: room rates are good and breakfast is included. The expo is within walking distance, or a taxi or cab shouldn't cost much. Love from Karachi Pakistan.
