I used to choose this place for short trips to Singapore because the weekday deals were great. The rooms were decent in size and had the basic amenities. I mainly picked it over other hotels in the same budget because it offered rooms with windows.

The staff were friendly, spoke English well, and were ready to help. The area was quiet at night, felt safe to walk around, and the location was convenient for the bus stop, MRT and city centre. The room was a little small for two, with okay amenities, a kettle, cups and fresh bottled water, but no fridge. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower always had hot water.

For Singapore, the price was good, though this is a low-end hotel. The location could be better, but taxis or Grab are a reasonable way to get places. The staff were friendly and the rooms comfortable. Since we're backpacking around SouthEast Asia, it felt like an upgrade from what we're used to.

The place was nice, but reception could've handled things better. They literally chased us out and made a big fuss over even five minutes. Better go to the hotel next door.

The building seems old, and our room smelled of cigarettes. I assume it could have come from the cleaning service or the previous guest. Still, at $45 with an online reservation, this was the most affordable option I could find in Singapore, below the usual average of $60. The hotel is in the Geylang area, not far from a bus stop and one of the closest transport options before Kallang or Aljuned MRT. There are lots of food stalls and shops nearby, open 24 hours. Don't be put off by Geylang's nightlife, I felt safe.
