The older man at reception tonight was really rude. I spoke to him politely, but he answered me badly and tossed the change at me.

For what you pay, this old hotel is still reasonable for a basic stay. The rooms are okay, but the walls need repainting. Some rooms have leaks at the bathroom faucet and cistern, and one particular room had a blocked drain. The mattresses are badly sunken and need replacing. An upgrade would make this a great place.

Hotel 81 Cherry does not accept digital I/C. You have to use a physical I/C.

This hotel is old and needs refurbishment. The rooms are dusty, and cockroaches run around. In most rooms, the toilet floor drain is blocked or slow, the faucet is loose, and the flush is weak. The air conditioning is either noisy or not cold.

The room at Hotel 81 Cherry was much too cramped, and there were baby cockroaches. The air conditioning was too low. After 10 minutes I tried to call for a room change, and the front desk moved us to 308. There we found a cockroach, and the TV wouldn’t turn on at all. We then asked for a refund.
