YWCA Fort Canning

We went to a wedding dinner and tea ceremony here, and the food and service were on a par with better-known hotel brands along Orchard Road. YWCA offers good value as a wedding venue, with plenty of basement parking. It’s a little away from the main shopping belt, so traffic is manageable. Highly recommended, thumbs up!

The YWCA does meaningful work empowering women and giving families who need a break or holiday a chance to rest. I’m glad to support a place that gives back to the community, and I highly recommend staying here. I spent a week there and had a fabulous time. The hotel has a nice cafe, a good atmosphere, clean rooms, and helpful, friendly staff. Across the road there’s a beautiful park, and nearby are a railway station, bus services, and a huge plaza for food, clothes, and other shopping. After a hot day out, I loved getting a cold drink of lemon water near the lifts before heading to my room.

I went with my buddies for the Teochew Porridge Buffets, and really enjoyed the spread of classic traditional dishes and the company. The place is celebrating it's 150 anniversary and has a thoughtfully put-together exhibition in the lobby. I learned a lot about it's origins and how it became what it is today. Many inspirational women made it happen!

I’ve been to YWCA multiple times and have always had a good experience. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are excellent. Special mention to Night Manager Mr.Ganesan, who goes out of his way to give exemplary service every time. He’s an asset to the hotel.
