JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La

We went to JEN by Shangri-La, Singapore with our 2-year-old and stayed four nights. The staff were so warm and polite, and made our child feel welcome. That made a big difference to the trip. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices for adults and kids, and everything was nicely organized and tasty. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well looked after each day by housekeeping, which helped keep the stay stress-free with a toddler. We had a memorable family holiday here. The comfort, food, and hospitality were all great, and we’d happily recommend it to others visiting Singapore. We’d like to stay again.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of buffet choices, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location near Orchard Road was excellent. We had an interconnecting room that was a decent size and clean, though a little dated. We also really liked the rooftop bar for relaxing and enjoying the views.

We hardly noticed the busy roads around the hotel, our room on the 13th floor was completely quiet during the stay. It was comfortable and had good equipment, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the spectacular rooftop pool and bar. The staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s in a great spot for exploring Singapore. The MRT entrance is right next door, or you can get a GRAB taxi in about five minutes. We didn’t need local cash at all, since Singapore seemed cashless for everything, even a bottle of water.

We spent five days here and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms stayed in excellent condition, and staff handled our requests well. The MRT was quick and easy to reach, which made getting to attractions and other places convenient. My favorite part was the bar by the pool upstairs. We asked for a knife to cut our fruit, but they couldn’t provide one for safety reasons. Instead, Elisha Daryll Kandan kindly offered to prepare it. Five minutes later, it arrived beautifully arranged and carefully presented.
