The room was clean and staff were helpful, and the price was competitive for the location. A little maintenance, like painting over patches, tidying edges, and polishing things up, could make it go from average to good.

The standard room was quite cramped, and the bed was only okay for comfort. Still, the room was clean and newly renovated, and the rate was affordable. It had AC, a TV, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, a hot and cold shower, shower gel, and free WiFi. The staff were hospitable too. You can book through an online travel app. The Quay Hotel Bugis is a decent budget option near Bugis. There are eateries within walking distance, and it's about a 12-minute walk to Bugis MRT, Bugis Junction, and Bugis Street.
