Venue Hotel

The place is in a good location, and filtered water was a nice bonus. The staff were the real highlight: everyone was friendly and very helpful. Hoa was looking after the rooms, and was pleasant and willing to do whatever she could to help. Reception gave useful advice about venues, and getting a late checkout was easy. The rooms are on the small side but suitable for one person. The ones shown on the website don't quite look like the actual rooms. The ensuite was cramped too, with the toilet so close to the wall that it was impossible to get your legs around it.

Our room, 210, was comfortable, clean and well maintained, with everything we needed. We spent four days and three nights at Venue Hotel Singapore, and really enjoyed our stay. The location made it easy for us to get around Singapore and visit different attractions. Service was quick and excellent the whole time. We met several people at the front desk, and every one was professional, friendly and ready to help. They dealt with any problems quickly and made us feel welcome. Everything felt just right, and we'd happily recommend Venue Hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

It's convenient for local food and getting around, and the price is reasonable. Davin at reception is a highlight, greeting us cheerfully each morning and offering helpful recommendations. Can't complain.

The front desk staff were polite and friendly, but the soundproofing was really poor. Karaoke and people outside could be heard constantly. The bathroom is meant to separate wet and dry areas, yet water still leaks out from underneath.
