Weave Suites - Hillside

The natural wood and earth-inspired design really suited me. The room was comfortable and felt like home in the heart of the city, with smart storage and cozy nooks. We had an induction stove and washing machine for days when we wanted to be self-contained, plus a full kitchen in the co-dining space for cookout days. The co-working lobby was a perfect work-from-home office for my six months, and the meeting rooms gave me extra privacy. We spent half a year at Weave Suites with the amazing community crew, Andy, Kimberly, Irwan and Syed. It’s a mix of serviced apartment and co-living, with basic cleaning and fresh sheets once a week. There’s no dining, but plenty of food options nearby. Keep an eye out for the monthly events to spend time with fellow roomies. I still meet them regularly, months after checking out of what feels like my second home away from home. 😉

The stay itself was noisy, with a construction site right beside the building making a lot of noise during the day. There was nowhere to leave luggage, which was inconvenient too. Before I arrived, my flight to Singapore was cancelled because of the war situation in the region. I contacted the property straight away and sent proof, but they wouldn’t offer a full or even partial refund. Given the price and how little flexibility they showed, the whole experience was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Kimberly really made my stay at Weave Suites Hillside. She was friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever I had a question. I felt she genuinely cared about the guests and residents. The property was comfortable, convenient, and well managed too. I’d recommend staying here, and I’m especially grateful to Kimberly for making everything feel smooth.

The room was clean and nice, and it was convenient to reach the MRT and bus stations. My mom and I stayed for six days, but service made the stay frustrating. We asked for an extra blanket at about 6 pm. The front desk said housekeeping had gone for the day and promised it for 8 the next morning. It never came, so we had to ask again at 10. Housekeeping also came into the room while my mom was showering and I was out. I managed to stop them before they reached the bathroom. We couldn’t do laundry the day before leaving the country because the front desk said they were out of laundry pods. There wasn’t any dish soap in the room either, even though it’s an aparthotel, so I had to get some from the common kitchen on the second floor. It’s frustrating when the front desk can’t handle basic requests whenever housekeeping isn’t around. It makes you wonder what the front desk is there for.
