Oriana Studios

Bran was a big help while we planned our trip. The location is great, and if the room with a view fits your budget, go for it!

The host lives on the property and was nice and helpful. He asked what we were interested in and suggested places to see around Bled. Parking was available, and linens and bath towels were provided. Since Bled is very touristy and prices are high, this place felt good value compared with others. We booked two Oriana studios for two nights. The upstairs studio with the lake view and balcony was lovely, with two balconies overlooking Bled lake. It was clean and comfortable for three, with a kitchen stocked with the needed utensils and dish soap, a dining area, one double bed, one single bed, and a clean bathroom. I’d give that one 5 stars. The ground-floor studio had a double bed, a dining table with three chairs, basic kitchen utensils, dish soap, and a dishwasher. Its bathroom was just outside the room and clean, though the shower area was low, so water splashed out. There was also a window on one side. I’d rate that studio 3.5. The property is beautiful, with a small garden and a view of Bled lake.

We had everything we needed in this bright, roomy studio, including two balconies looking out at the lake. The owners were kind and helpful without getting in our way. It’s an easy five-minute walk to the lake and what it offers, and about 15 minutes on foot to the town center. Just perfect. I’ll definitely come back!

The garden was beautiful, with a little koi pond and even a handmade treehouse above it, plus several other handmade wooden things. The ground-floor flat itself had a small kitchen and fridge, a little hallway, and a small bathroom with a shower. The location was lovely and the apartment affordable, but we didn’t feel very welcome. It was a strange experience compared with other guest houses where the owners are friendly and make you feel at home. We arrived in the afternoon, but the room wasn’t ready. We had to wait outside for a bit, and the owner seemed unprepared for us. Other guests were waiting too, so I figured it might have been a stressful day for the owner.
