Hostel Mama Minka

A great spot for hikers, with a very good location. The owner was lovely and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms were great, and the kitchen and bathroom were clean too.

If you value a warm welcome and happy atmosphere over luxury, this is a lovely no-frills hostel. It was clean and quiet, with an excellent shower and breakfast.

We loved how cosy the common areas felt, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were so welcoming, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and our comfortable room was a good size. Showers had great pressure, parking was easy, and it was a perfect base for exploring. Great value, dog friendly too. Thanks to the team at Mama Minkas. We hope to return soon!

Katja made me feel at home and shared great tips for places to eat and visit. The house used to belong to her grandma, and it has a warm, welcoming feel. It's a small place with just a couple of dorms and double rooms, not your typical hostel. Breakfast had plenty of options, including fresh bread every morning and Katja's homemade yogurt. It's pet friendly too. When guests brought their dogs, Katja left treats for them on the breakfast table, such a sweet gesture. The place was very clean, and free towels, shampoo and shower gel were provided.
