The hosts were so kind and had really useful suggestions for things to do nearby. The apartment was spotless and new, with a balcony looking out over an incredible view. It was peaceful, the bed was comfortable, and the air felt so fresh. Shops, bars, and places to eat were only a short walk away. I wish I'd booked more time here, and I'll stay again when I'm back in Bovec.

That balcony is a lovely place to sit around 4 pm with a glass of wine and take in the view. We were a family of five, staying briefly last week. We’d visited Bovec in 2005 and camped at Liza bakv, but this time wanted an apartment. Makuc worked out really well, especially thanks to the very friendly owners. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen-living room with the balcony, with plenty of space for us. The kitchen has what you need to cook, though as I said in my review, Martinov restaurant is worth visiting anyway. It’s just above the center, about a five to ten minute walk to a supermarket, the restaurants mentioned, and lots of outdoor activity providers. Bovec is amazing, so don’t hesitate to go. Makuc is a pleasant place to stay, with lovely owners.
