I notice details and I’m a perfectionist, so I enjoyed every useful feature, every smart use of space, and every beautiful part of this amazing place and city Dobrna. I’m already curious to see what this cozy place is like in other seasons. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Having an EV charger in the parking area was worth five stars. I took one off because non-EV cars were allowed in the reserved spot, another because reception said they couldn’t contact the rude driver or have the car removed, and a third because they told me to try again in the afternoon, but by then there was just another non-EV car there. The only option they gave me was another charger in a free parking area near the school. Thanks, but what’s the point of reserving a charger for hotel customers then? Why not ask for the car’s plate at check-in, link it to the guest and room, and call the person who parked there without consideration?

We enjoyed the pools, although at the end of December I expected them to be a bit warmer. The food was okay, and we didn’t have to pay for parking after we asked about it. We were disappointed, though. We stayed at Hotel Park, which seemed unfinished or under renovation. The entry door didn’t work properly, and we couldn’t lock our room door. The hotel restaurant was closed too. We’d been looking forward to a massage, but couldn’t get one. Nobody had told us we needed to book it.

The location is amazing, and I like being able to swim outside in winter in hot water. The electronic wristband was easy to use too. Still, the pools seem to get little renovation or repair for the pretty high price. I also didn’t like the safeguards slamming plastic chairs just two meters from my head. It was a good experience overall.
