What stays with me most is how Layer Hiša makes you feel part of Kranj, with peaceful mornings and snug evenings where everything slows down a little. The place has real history and creativity in it, and each corner feels like it has its own character. Inside, it’s intimate and beautifully put together, but still comfortable and genuine rather than staged. Layer Hiša is full of local charm and atmosphere from the moment you walk in. A rare find, and an unforgettable experience. ❤️

I never stayed overnight, but this became a regular place for me to unwind. The host was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. It’s a lovely spot to relax over a coffee or a glass of wine. I’d come back next time I’m travelling.

The terrace is a lively meeting spot for visitors and locals, and they put on art and cultural events here too. This is the place to be in Kranj. The cocktails are pretty good, and the service is incredibly attentive.

Tucked away behind the old alleys, this little place is lovely to spend time in. The staff are friendly and the prices are great. Highly recommend.
