The room was far too small, even though we paid extra for a private one, and it looked nothing like the online photos. The pictures are misleading. The shared bathrooms were about the size of airplane bathrooms, and the men's one barely seemed to get cleaned. There was no room service, just one pillow on a queen-size bed and one towel for our three-day stay. The AC barely worked. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere better.

I felt very safe here as a solo female traveler, especially with the doors using electronic key fobs. The check-in lady was friendly, and the location is excellent, close to everything I wanted to see. Shared bathrooms and showers were clean, and there were enough that I never had to wait. The simple room was comfortable and had the basics I needed, like a mirror, hooks, hangers, and a lamp. My only gripe was that the outlet behind the bed was really hard to reach for charging my phone. Otherwise, everything felt well thought out.

Being so close to the old town was nice, but the noise at night was a problem. Someone was washing dishes and cups and boiling tea in the hotel kitchen right outside our room. It would be much better without a kitchen in the hotel.

The air conditioning was a lifesaver, and the shared bathrooms stayed clean without feeling crowded. The rooms were neat and really clean too. Great hostel.
