The hotel is very nice, and its staff made us feel welcome and were helpful. Breakfast was good, with healthy choices and some local items. The owner offered us bikes, which made it easy to get around, and BTC shopping center is very close. There’s also a bus stop right by the hotel for getting into the town centre. We had a really good experience.

The guesthouse is an easy walk from a bus stop and some convenience stores, and it’s not far from central Ljubljana. There’s private parking on the property too. I stayed in this small, cozy, family-run place during my Slovenia trip, and the owners were lovely and welcoming. My room was large and comfortable. Since there weren’t many guests then, I had breakfast with the family. They made a fantastic Slovenian breakfast with great cheese, meat, bread, and tomatoes. I’d sit and chat with them for a long time afterward, comparing our countries, their climate and weather, and other things. They were especially curious because I come from an island nation. They also have a little café that’s usually full at lunchtime. I was told executives often come for the home-style daily lunch, though I couldn’t try it because of my schedule. When I checked out, they gave me a small thank-you gift for staying. It touched me a lot. Thank you, and I hope to see you all again soon.

There’s no ventilation or window in the bathrooms. When you need to poop, it’s terrible, the smell spreads through the room. The only solution is to leave the entrance room open.

I’ve stayed here twice already and plan to come back next time I’m in Ljubljana. It’s a very professional, family-run Bed and Breakfast, and the homemade breakfast is uniquely sensational, authentically Slovenian in the traditional sense. The room had a very good contemporary style, and the location is convenient for BTC shopping centre. The discount for returning guests was a nice extra. Highly recommended.
