Central Studios was lovely, clean and nicely presented, right in the middle of Ljubljana. Foculus, a pizzeria just across the street, does fantastic woodfired pizzas. Parking was a ten minute walk away, which was manageable, and the hosts were perfect. We'd definitely recommend it.
The free parking was a nice bonus, though the lot is some distance away and the gate didn't open very smoothly. The place itself is cozy and comfortable, with a clean, modern interior. It's near the old town and easy to reach, but the soundproofing could be better.
For what the place costs each night, the service and condition really don't measure up. The apartment is close to the center and the bed is good quality, but the walls are so thin you hear both the neighbors and people in the hallway. There were several maintenance and cleanliness problems. The wall-mounted toilet is coming loose and has a wooden block propping it up. The bathroom door scrapes the floor and won't close properly. There's limescale and ingrained dirt on the shower faucet, maybe mold, and suspicious stains inside the fridge and on one of the pillows. The finishing work needs improvement too.
The apartment was right in the very center and we were satisfied with our stay. A big thank you to the owner, who helped when we had car trouble so we could get home safely.
The hosts were very friendly, and the drying rack in the bathroom was a plus. Our room was nice and clean, and the location was peaceful, close to the riverbank but far enough away to stay quiet. The only small drawback was that the air conditioning didn't cool quite as effectively as we'd expected, though it did make the room cooler.
