I spent a month here, and Suzana was a wonderful host. She met me at the entrance when I arrived and was reachable on WhatsApp. I got around on foot since I didn't have a car. The river and historic center are two minutes down the street, Tivoli park is about an eight-minute walk to its entrance, and several museums are within ten minutes. There's a small food market in the building across the street, the castle is uphill from here, and the bus and train station is five minutes away. There's also a free coworking building about ten minutes away, handy for digital nomad work. The room was medium-sized, with a queen bed, electric kettle, refrigerator, wardrobe, heating, and air conditioning. It could use some upgrades: the TV looks about 20 years old and only has satellite channels, and the only seat is a small, uncomfortable plastic chair. I'd prefer an upholstered one. The location has a downside too. Ljubljana is a pedestrian city, and there's a taxi turnaround right below, so street noise carries into the room. New Year's Eve was crazy fun, but you can also hear loud guests through the walls. Even so, the noise doesn't take away from the other things I mentioned. Be sure to grab takeout from Bubu's at the hotel entrance. It's a little hole in the wall, but the Indian food is great and Bubu is super friendly. Thanks for your hospitality, Suzana.
