Apartments Kavenija

The apartment was spacious, clean, and organized, and we found it comfortable. Airbnb chat replies could be slow at times, though the host got back to us faster by SMS, which we appreciated. We did miss having somewhere to keep ski gear and dry boots and clothes, especially at a ski resort. There was also an occasional sewage odor in the bedroom, so we had to air it out. Apart from those drawbacks, the stay was good.

That bed was wonderful, with big duvets and two pillows each, and sleeping there was pure bliss. My husband and I spent one night in this apartment, and it’s rare to find an Airbnb or Booking place this thoughtfully set up. The kitchen had dishes, cutlery, a toaster, kettle, stove, hand mixer, wine glasses, a bottle opener, and plenty of other little touches. There was a great capsule coffee machine with tea and coffee options, plus a fridge with complimentary water and ice in the freezer. We also had a large TV with Netflix, good air conditioning, and a comfortable table. The bathroom has a shower in one space and a separate toilet. Towels were supplied for the body, face, hands, and feet, with an extra hand towel in the kitchen. Small touches like a makeup mirror and hotel-style hand tissues made it feel like someone had thought through the details. There’s a private parking space right by the entrance. Breakfast at the downstairs café costs €12 and was amazing, so I’d highly recommend it. I’m so glad we picked this apartment, staying here was a joy.

The parking was handy, and across the road there’s a bakery and pizza. The supermarket is just a minute’s drive away. We also enjoyed the cozy breakfast at the cafeteria, and the accommodation itself was great.

We’re still here and loving the apartment. It’s been the best place we’ve stayed on our trip. The owner is thoughtful and replies to our messages straight away. I’d give it 10 stars if I could! We’ll be back.
