I was glad to find this place. The parking was good, and it was in a quiet part of town, just a few minutes from downtown. The whole place felt spacious, from the indoor dining room to the patio outside and the living room area upstairs. I arrived without an online reservation and was welcomed with a glass of wine. She offered me a much better rate than I could have got through Booking.com. I also had the 12 euro dinner, with salad, schnitzel, and hand-cut fried potatoes, and she brought another glass of wine. A lovely stop.

After many hours driving around Slovenia, I arrived to a kind welcome from the landlady, who quickly showed me the apartment I'd be staying in for the next few days. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the room was comfortable and nicely arranged. The meals were a real plus. I could choose what I wanted for breakfast and dinner, and both tasted great, so there was no need to look around town for restaurants. There was also a bar in the building, a nice place to have a drink after a long day. The service was incredible. During coffee breaks, I enjoyed talking with local people and the landlady's friends, which made my stay more enjoyable. Thanks so much to her for everything. If I return to Maribor, I'll happily book an apartment here again, whether I'm visiting for work or a vacation.

The room had air conditioning, a TV and a fridge, and the bathroom came with towels and shower gel. It was quiet and cozy, and the hostess was really pleasant and polite. If we needed anything extra, like a kettle or dishes, she was happy to provide it.

We only stayed one night, and everything else went well. The owners were lovely, and dinner was great: schnitzel, fries and salad for €8 per person. The bed creaked so much that every time I moved, I worried I'd wake my wife or child. That's why I took off one star.
