We had a lovely weekend at Bolfenk apartment, and the staff were exceptionally kind. The apartment was very clean, and the food tasted great. They’d even left a pillow and a treat for my dog, which was so thoughtful. I’ll recommend this place to friends and family!

We spent a long weekend here. The cabin was nice and fully equipped, with a kitchen and living area. The TV kept stuttering because of some signal problem, but otherwise we had a good experience.

The village is in a good spot, and the wellness centre is top notch, though anyone uncomfortable with nudity in the spa should be aware of that. My issue was the apartment our family stayed in, room 8008. The TV barely worked, and even when it did, it only worked a few times. There were no English channels, the Wi-Fi was nonexistent, and the bed was a nightmare. Still, it’s a very strategic base for getting around Pohorje and Maribor.

It’s right in the heart of the mountain, with a nice cluster of small hotels. Everything was renovated, clean, and quiet. The rooms are spacious, with big bathrooms and tubs, and there’s a fireplace in the lobby. They also have a warm indoor pool, hot jacuzzis, and a football field.

The pool felt more like a kids' play area, and there didn’t seem to be any staff around. I wouldn’t choose this place to relax or enjoy wellness. The room looked like it belonged in the 90s, nothing like the photos, and there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. They say room service is available, but there’s no phone in the room. They also say they don’t offer massages, even though flyers and ads for them are everywhere. Sauna use costs €26 per person from 16:00-20:00, and we weren’t told about the charge before booking. I’m very disappointed. This isn’t a wellness hotel.
