Apartmaji Manita

I can’t speak for the other apartments, but the one we stayed in was in fairly acceptable condition. Still, I’m taking off three stars because the room smelled terribly of cigarettes as soon as we walked in. I’m not usually one to complain, but even airing it out for two days didn’t get rid of the smell. Since every apartment has its own balcony, maybe the owners should add a no-smoking rule for the rooms.

The bad feeling stuck with us even after they changed our apartment, which took an hour of waiting for the emergency room. Our first apartment hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived: rubbish was left there, the bedding was on the floor without covers, and dirty dishes were in the sink. Very bad.

The check-in was simple, and we could take care of all the formalities by email. The apartments are well equipped and in a quiet location, yet close to both Terme Vivat and Terme 3000. The only things missing from the apartment are a wardrobe and a bedside table next to the bed.

The design and furnishings are nice, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Online check-in and checkout went smoothly in advance, and the room door code worked fine. There’s a shop, a souvenir shop, and a pizzeria nearby, about 400 meters away. We had to fix the TV connection ourselves because it wasn’t fully connected. There’s no showerhead holder, which is annoying when washing your hair. The doors and cabinets, along with the bathroom ventilation, clearly need renovating.
