Podlipje Estate With Sauna

Really friendly service, and the house-made dinner tasted brilliant.

We had a hard time choosing where to stay while exploring Prekmurje, since there’s so much to see. In the end we picked the Podlipje estate, and knew on arrival we’d chosen well. It’s right among the sights, the grounds are kept up beautifully, and there’s a roomy car park with a filling station. There’s also a new hotel or mansion. The hosts are helpful and very friendly, and the food is top-notch. What the Podlipje estate website says about staying there matches reality. I recommend it.

The estate’s setting, the surrounding nature, and the herds of domestic animals make it a special place. Our visit was a pleasant surprise. We came during the St. Martin's Day holiday, and the hosts made the experience even better with their hospitality, service, excellent food, and all the goodwill they showed us.
