The hosts are lovely, the food is top notch, and the wine was really good. It’s an amazing place for the value.

A great spot to take a break surrounded by nature. The hostess made us feel genuinely welcome, and the place has everything you’d expect among the vineyards, greenery, and birdsong. It also works well for smaller groups, celebrations, and get-togethers.

We stayed at a lovely cottage on Trška gora with an incredible view. The wine and local specialties were top quality, too.

There’s a vineyard, a cottage made for good company, and a cellar with a hidden treasure for the humble, though it can be punishment for the arrogant. A place to relax or get active, with a magnificent view across the Novo Mesto basin toward Gorjanci and farther south and southwest.

They make sure you feel at home in this wonderful cottage, while keeping Dolenjska’s cultural heritage alive.
