The grass was just right for putting up a tent, and the bathrooms were cute and pleasant. We also bought some honey there, which tasted really good. Mostly, though, it was the whole family's friendliness and open, easygoing manner that made this such a lovely experience. I only have good memories of our time there.

We arrived at about 9pm and stayed just one night. Marco was very friendly and spoke several languages extremely well, especially English and German. We had a peaceful night among the plums and apples. The bathrooms were clean and nice, and there's a fridge for tent campers. Inside the house, Marco offers homemade specialties to taste for free. A really nice place to stay.

The nights are silent here, and the sunsets and views are wonderful. We only moved on because the road was calling, though I would have happily stayed much longer. It feels like real Slovenia, with genuine Slovene hospitality, far from the crowds of Postojna and Ljubljana. The people are lovely, and the setting is beautiful. Camping is inexpensive, with soft terraced ground and enough darkness to see the stars clearly, including the seven sisters. Facilities are rustic but clean and worth more than the price. It suits non-motorised camping especially well, though caravans and RVs seem to manage with the hedges and shady trees. They also run apartments. It's a farm with an apiary and a home distillery. You can have a meal made entirely from local produce, though it's a little pricey. Tastings and bear-watching excursions are offered too. One thing to know: dogs are everywhere. They're quiet and friendly, but if you don't like dogs, this may not be the place for you.

It's a lovely little farmer-run campsite with a nice view, good Wi-Fi, and really friendly people. Breakfast is available, and they sell drinks and some nice wooden things. The toilets have no privacy at all, so you can hear everyone, though that probably isn't easy to fix. Summer days can get very hot, but the nights are really cold, so bring warm blankets.
