Hotel Prebold

They’re very good at understanding what guests need, and the service and help they provide are very good.

The room was clean but very small, and we were given two single beds even though we had booked a double. At breakfast the receptionist was cleaning up and asked whether we wanted scrambled eggs. We’d rather not ask :)). Breakfast was unusually simple, and for the quality of the hotel, it doesn’t feel like good value. We first booked accommodation in Slovenia. I’d read the reviews, so I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I was. At check-in, the receptionist seemed to have a hard time getting up. Prebold itself is a lovely, clean Slovenian sports village in a wonderful setting.

The region is lovely, though there isn’t much nearby in the way of interesting sights beyond Slovenian village life. The location works for my kind of travel. I’ve stayed three times, which says I appreciate the place, mostly because the price-performance ratio is very good. It’s an old-school hotel with a classic, basic style.

We were playing football and came in for a glass of water, but they wouldn’t give us one. She said some mean things and assaulted us. The service is really bad. I don’t recommend it.
