Rimske terme Resort

I visited without staying overnight, and it wasn’t great unless you want to swim or wander around in lukewarm water. There are lots of bubbly features in the pools, but you can’t switch them on yourself. Only one was running at a time, so people had to hunt and race for a spot. Parking is paid.

The staff were lovely and the spa was good, but I would have enjoyed the visit much more if it hadn't felt like they were looking for every chance to charge guests extra. The food and drinks in the cafee are way overpriced for the quality. For 18€ you get pasta tartufata from a microwave and a questionable feeling in your stomach.

I was staying at Rimske Terme with half board and went to the pool bar looking for lunch recommendations. A young guy told me straight away not to order there because it was fast food. Three hours later, I came back for french fries. He asked if I had a table, but all five were taken. At one, a couple were playing cards, with no food and their drinks finished. The bartender refused to take my order because I had nowhere to sit, even when I said I would eat standing at the bar. He said no way. I told him he was stopping me from eating, and we both got angry. I left hungry. Can Rimske Terme find customer-focused solutions? It’s unacceptable not to respond to a basic human need like hunger. I wanted a relaxing weekend, not to go without food.

The pool facilities, sauna, and spa area are excellent. The rooms are simple but clean, and the hotel is in a great area. Breakfast and other meals are standard buffet fare.
