Our hosts even put together a quick dinner for us after it got missed in the confusion, and they were so helpful in planning our day around Rinka falls and nearby spots. They treated us to homemade breads and jams, so much that I took some home. There are lots of nearby walking options if you don't feel like doing much else. We stayed in a cute, thoughtfully decorated cottage overlooking the mountains. It was warm and had everything we needed. The location is picturesque, with a peaceful atmosphere and welcoming hosts, and the food was delicious. I loved my time here and will make sure to leave a day to come back when I'm traveling nearby.

A spotless room with a lovely view, and such warm hospitality. The food was great, so half board is a strong choice. The location is ideal for exploring. The panoramic road is well worth driving, and it's also lovely to walk to the nearby farms.

The garden has an open seating area where you can sit in the sun and enjoy a view you just can't buy. Katja and her family were wonderful and so welcoming. They made me fall in love with Slovenia, and I'll definitely come back if we visit again. Thanks for making us feel so at home :)

We stayed one night at Planinski dom Majerhold, and the little cottage was spotless, cozy and full of charm, just right for a peaceful mountain break. The homemade food was delicious, prepared with care and local tradition. The owner was warm, kind and talkative, and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We absolutely loved the stay. If you're after a heartwarming experience in the Slovenian mountains, we can't recommend Planinski dom Majerhold enough! :)
