The peaceful setting in the Strunjan park area was a real highlight. Rooms were well maintained and the beds very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and service was excellent from check-in through check-out. We'd definitely come back.

The rooms on the 3rd floor are great, and the breakfast is good. Staff are friendly. This hotel deserves four stars.

Visiting the nearby salt pans the next day turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel's location also made it easy to visit the interesting town of Piran and the beach at Portorozo. We had dinner at the restaurant, where the food was freshly prepared. My wife was given a bottle of local red wine, and we really enjoyed the attentive young waiter's service. He was amazed to hear we came from South Africa. The manager of the local bank joined us and said we were probably the first South Africans in their part of the world. It's a wonderful Slovenian experience, highly recommended.

The room design was funny, and the hotel was expensive. The location near the sea was good. The bed was good, the shower pressure was great and the AC worked well. The TV wasn't good, and there was no kettle or fridge.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and the location is great. We only looked at the rooms, since we stayed at their other hotel, but both places share the same reception. This is a very good base for hikes or bike rides.
