The food was poor, apart from breakfast, and the staff weren't very friendly. Prices weren't especially cheap either, and there's not much happening in the surrounding area. I can't see why people would return unless they haven't stayed anywhere else. I was here for a family trip I hadn't planned. Having worked in a hotel myself, the place struck me as stuck in the past, as if nothing had changed in 20 years. Rooms and restaurants don't have to be modern or fancy, but simply doing everything the old way means the hotel will lose its standing. There's no sense of care in the work, and I can't recommend staying here.

We were happy with our stay. It's a good hotel in a superb spot and makes a great base for exploring Istria. The expressway to Piran has been toll-free since January 2026. The hotel is popular with families and works well for children. Service was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptionally plentiful, and the buffet dinner had a wide choice too, including vegetarian and vegan options, fish, seafood, and several kinds of meat. Treatments were very good and reasonably priced, within the usual range. Book well ahead, though, since they're popular. A couple of things felt odd for a hotel that presents itself as a wellness hotel: guests pay €17 for three hours in the sauna area, which closes at 7 pm. Also, on weekdays, school swimming lessons take over the pool for several hours each morning and afternoon. The hotel hosts school groups as well, but that wasn't a problem for us.
