Hotel Kunst

The food was the real highlight at Gostilna Kunst. Seasonal ingredients came through in dishes that felt creative, fresh, and satisfying, with traditional Slovenian cooking given an artistic touch. The room itself was warm and inviting, elegant but still homey, with art and a cozy fireplace. It works for a special celebration or an evening meal, and even for a good lunch. Gostilna Kunst is a memorable dining destination with an authentic Slovenian feel, and I’d happily recommend it.

I really liked the warm, professional service, and the wine list has plenty of good choices to go with the menu. The main dishes were beautifully presented and cooked just right. I found the starters a little short on flavor. The elegant decor makes for a relaxed, high-end evening, and this fine dining restaurant is tucked inside the hotel. You don’t have to be staying there to enjoy a special meal, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

It’s peaceful here despite being close to the highway, and I’d happily return on another trip. My dinner was delicious and served beautifully, while breakfast was fairly standard, though I liked the fresh pancakes. The hotel is clean, well organized, and eco-friendly, with stylishly furnished rooms. Pets are welcome. Just be aware there’s no elevator.

Breakfast was the best part, with a good range of choices and eggs cooked fresh when ordered. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. We arrived after reception had closed, but they still made check-in possible, which we really appreciated. The menu looked delicious, so I wish we’d had a chance to try the restaurant too.
