Angel's Apartment

Parking was no problem, though you have to take the last two floors on foot. The apartment was nicely furnished and equipped, and the woman at reception was very helpful and pleasant.

The apartment was spotless, and the receptionist was lovely and explained everything. It’s on the 7th floor, although the elevator only reaches the 5th. Sleeping right beside the entrance door felt a bit odd.

The studio was lovely, and I liked the view, but the shower enclosure really needs renovation. I understand that money for repairs may not always be available, but cleanliness should still be the same even when a shower is older. After a long journey, I wanted to take a shower, then saw it and didn’t really want to anymore. The woman at reception was wonderful, though, and she’s the reason I’m giving four stars.

Outside, the office building doesn’t look very inviting, but the apartment itself is finished to a high standard and everything looks new. A very friendly woman met us on the second floor, gave us the keys, handled registration, and showed us around on the seventh floor. The place has comfortable beds, a chaise lounge, air conditioning, and two radiators, one in the room and one in the bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with a fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, full sets of dishes and pots, plus plenty of coffee and tea. There are towels and toiletries in the bathroom, and the TV has a USB port and Netflix if you use your own account. Free parking is included, which is really handy with parking meters all over the city.
