Apartmán Danka

We needed a place close to SUSCH, and the apartment was only about a three-minute walk away. But there was a lot of noise: all afternoon and into the evening, we could hear the housemates in the next room talking loudly and arguing, every word. The electric heating was the worst part. On the day we arrived, we were told there was no electricity. It was -10 degrees outside, and the apartment was cold. We set the two radiators to 26-27 degrees, and the one in the children's room to 30, planning to turn them down once it warmed up. In the afternoon the owner banged on the door and yelled that our heating was stopping him from charging his electric car, that we were turning the apartment into a sauna, and that he could see the electricity use in his house. It felt like Big Brother was watching🙈. A mercury thermometer and a “disguised” weather station behind the flower stand showed 21 degrees in the room. He intimidated us and threatened a senseless €100 fine that he had no right to impose🤦‍♂️, unless he considered himself a proper authority in his own world🙄. We won’t come back, and I can’t recommend it. Those three days were nowhere near peaceful.
