Reception isn’t open around the clock, but you can let yourself in and out whenever you need to. The staff were very friendly, including when I accidentally woke the receptionist at 4:30 AM because I needed something from my motorcycle. The local motorcycle group I was visiting has a good rapport with the Pension. It’s a clean, pleasant, inexpensive place with ordinary, comfortable rooms. I’m not sure what to make of the earlier compliments and low ratings, but my own experience was friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for more, you’ll have to pay a lot more somewhere else.

The view was great, and the beds were big and soft. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were really kind and helpful. We didn’t have a fridge, though, so the food we brought went bad.

I had arranged a late checkout because I’d played a late-night show at a nearby music club. The receptionist let us pay for it in advance, but apparently didn’t make a note, so perhaps that part was just a misunderstanding. Even so, the owner’s behavior was abusive. At 10:10 she was shouting and knocking, then opened the door and walked in while my friend and I were in bed trying to sleep. Horrible behavior. Be careful.

They took us in at 10 o’clock at night and were kind and helpful. The price was even lower than it was online.

It’s a 15-minute walk from the centre and the price is great. It’s quiet after 10 pm. The food isn’t at a chef’s level, but it fills you up.
