The best part for me was getting to explore the area. With some guidance from the hosts, I tried the electric bikes offered to guests on site, despite having no previous experience. We rode through 4 neighboring villages, saw a waterfall and a naturally heated pool. We also hiked in the Lower Tatras and along a beautiful elevated wooden boardwalk among the treetops, then visited a fun outdoor waterpark and spa with an amazing mountain view. The apartments in Besenova were spacious and very clean, and Slavo was a welcoming host. The property is beautiful, with plenty of room to relax or have breakfast outside. The kitchen and other necessary amenities were provided, which was handy for fresh fruit, packing lunch or enjoying a cold beer. I’d strongly recommend staying with Slavo for the personal care and extra effort he puts into making your trip a good one. Ask him about places to see, make use of his local knowledge, and try some sheep cheese and goulash!
