Apartments City Centre

The location is excellent, and the apartments are clean. Walking across the floors makes a lot of noise, though.

There was a mix-up with the address on Booking. We contacted them, apologized, and got to the right address within 5 minutes, but the man who greeted us was pretty rude. He seemed to hate us over something that wasn’t our fault, and even if it had been, that attitude wasn’t called for. The location is great, just a few minutes on foot from the Historical centre, the Presidential Palace, and the Castle. You can catch a tram across the street, and there are lots of supermarkets and places to eat. Avoid the restaurant "Grandmother's" in the Old Town, it’s an absolute tourist trap. The room stayed warm despite the cold weather, and the towel warmer rack in the bathroom came in handy. The table and chairs were comfortable, and the facilities were good: fridge/freezer, kettle, iron, washer, pots, cutlery, and tv. The beds were comfortable, but we couldn’t push them together to make a queen size bed because a wooden structure kept them apart. The bathtub was comfortable, but the shower wasn’t. If you’re over 1,50cm, you’ll have to squat to wash your head, and be prepared for the whole bathroom to get wet.

The apartment was cozy and clean, and the host was really friendly and helpful. The location and apartment were great. The only tricky part was using the shower in the tub, especially if you’re tall.

Check-in was easy, and the room was spacious and very nice. It’s cost effective and in a great location. The TV didn’t work, and I kept hitting my leg on the bed’s corner because it was so close to the wardrobe.
