The room had a nice amount of space and a separate couch, and breakfast was included and satisfying. The staff were kind and very helpful, and the location was great. The one downside was the shower: it only had a handheld sprayer, which was a little harder to use if you're used to a wall-mounted spray head pointing at you.

We had a spacious, quiet room on the top floor, and the breakfast was very good. The rooms open around an atrium, and the hotel is lovely and well located. We were there for four nights over New Year. That changed on day two, when guests arrived on the first floor with pre-teen children. For the remaining three days, the kids ran up and down the curved marble stairs, screamed, shouted, slammed doors, used the lift, and left its door open. Our room was the only one on the top floor, so there was no reason for them to be up there. We reported it to reception twice, but the noise carried on. I've stayed in lots of hotels and never had an experience like this, so I won't recommend it to friends.

The staff were the highlight, so helpful and accommodating. They suggested restaurants and places to see, and Vera spent a good amount of time helping us buy train tickets from Bratislava to Budapest. We stayed at this pleasant little boutique hotel at the edge of the old town's main square. The rooms were comfortable and an adequate size. We didn't have time to try the small, highly rated restaurant downstairs, which has outdoor tables.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town, and the staff were lovely and happy to help with even unusual requests. Breakfast was great, including for a vegetarian. The hotel could have been cleaner, though, and being above a restaurant means you get noise and the smell of sausages. If you want a quiet rest after a journey, I'd look elsewhere.)))
