Chill House Slovakia

The view from our room was amazing, and the owners were friendly and made us feel at home. We could use the kitchen, living room and even a BBQ outside. The hotel sits high up in the city, so you need to be in good shape: public transport is a 10-15 minute walk because of the hill. Breakfast was included, with coffee, tea, cereal, milk, bread and jam. I would have preferred orange or apple juice to tap water. Drinks were cheap in the fridge, but I wasn't going to have soda in the morning.

For what it costs, this is a pretty good hostel. The whole house is beautiful and organized, and everything was quite clean. I stayed on the highest floor and had a great view over the side of the city facing the river, so I can't speak for the other rooms. Breakfast was a good experience, with fairly standard options, and it’s available all day, so you can eat the breakfast food whenever you want.

The room was large, with a balcony and an amazing view. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a big living room on the first floor, with tea, coffee, Muesli and milk available. The downside was no fan in the room and an early checkout, which seems to be getting common in Europe after COVID.

Chill House is in a peaceful, quiet village area. The staff were polite and friendly, and the rooms were tidy, clean and cozy, with a stunning view of Bratislava. Good value for money. I'd definitely come back. :)
