City Center Best Place Apartments

We were there just one night, and the room was spacious and well equipped. The city centre location in Bratislava is great, though you do hear some noise. I can definitely recommend it.

The staff really helped when I missed my flight and had to rebook in a rush. They sorted things out calmly and efficiently. The apartment was huge, spotless, comfortable, and felt luxurious for the price, with comfy beds, modern amenities, and everything looking new and well kept. The Old Town location is unbeatable, right in the heart of it. A tip: book through trusted portals and watch out for suspicious “payment confirmation” messages. The hotel warns guests about scams. I can't recommend this place enough for a Bratislava visit.

The accommodation really wasn't worth what we paid. The location is handy, right by the Old Town, and apart from the apartment we had a nice break. Yeme, a very good cafe/shop, is downstairs, with Lidl, Tesco, and tram stops close by. If hostels suit you, this spot is close to the Old Town and the places you might want to visit. But I'd class the apartment itself as a hostel. We stayed four nights. The bed was alright, but the bedside lights didn't work without unplugging them, so getting into bed meant fumbling in the dark and risking a fall or stubbed toes. There was a single-pan induction hob, but only one of the pans worked with it. The others were either unsuitable or disgustingly filthy, and there wasn't enough cutlery for two. The aircon worked for one day, then was apparently turned off because of the time of year (06/10/25). That wasn't helpful with the weather and apartment excessively hot, especially with my wife menopausal. A big sign said not to open the window, either. They perhaps shouldn't advertise aircon. WiFi was advertised too, but stopped working after day two. We spoke to reception, waited until the following day, then got a list of codes for other apartments to try. Those connections kept dropping out as well. There were some dubious makes on the sofa bed, cobwebs in the window bay, and a bathroom extractor fan full of dust. As an asthmatic, I noticed that, along with the awful noise from the fan.

You can find restaurants and the old city centre just a few steps away, and everything else is close at hand too. The central location is perfect. If you're lucky enough to get a room with a view of the centre, it's amazing. All good.
