Diamond residence ***** in Old Town

I spent three hours struggling in the street to find parking or even get into the building, and ended up crying. It was around midnight, and the police and strangers tried to help me find a place to park. The host was no help at all. He didn't answer calls, replied very late to messages, and didn't help me reach the building or figure out how to get inside. When I got stuck on the steps, he still didn't respond or help with parking. He'd said there would be a paper with his name on it to put in the car. When I told him there was no paper, an hour later he said I could write one myself. As a tourist, why should I have to find paper and a pen and deal with all this? He'd already shared instructions, he said, so it was my problem to work out the entrance instead of him explaining or answering my call. The parking information wasn't clear either. I filtered for free parking on Booking for a reason, so why was I expected to walk 600m from the parking place to the apartment? That isn't nearby parking, and it should be stated in the facilities. Walking back at midnight isn't ok for a solo woman. The location he sent was unclear, on the highway, and he gave no directions for the parking area. I sent him several photos of where I was and he didn't help me find a spot. Even after the police helped, I sent a photo to check if it was the right place and got no reply. By 2am, the internet still wasn't working. I waited two hours for hot water, but only got freezing water, and the toilet wasn't clean. This was by far the worst experience I've had on any of my solo trips. I'm on vacation, and I wouldn't recommend this apartment to any solo female traveler or anyone from the UAE or the Middle East. The host was unethical.
